WHY DOES KATE WINSLET KEEP HER OSCAR TROPHY IN THE BATHROOM

If you won an Oscar, putting it in the bathroom is maybe of the last places you’d put it. But for Kate Winslet, it was the perfect place to put it.

Kate Winslet won an Academy Award in 2008 for her role in The Reader. She beat Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, and others to claim her first Oscar.

Whilst many would consider it a prize worthy of keeping behind a secured case, Winslet decided to keep it out in a place where everyone who visits her home can get their chance to have a play around with it.

She keeps her prized possession in the toilet. The first question you probably have is, why would she keep it there of all places!?

Well, according to her, she keeps it there so everyone can have their turn with the trophy in front of the mirror, doing a pretend speech, and genuinely pretending like they’ve won the Academy Award.

Michael Fassbender said in response to Winslet’s toilet confession, that if the time they’ve spent in the toilet is “too long for a pee, but too short for a poo, you know they’re in there with the Oscar.”

Well put, Michael.
